Jestin Hi shatbhi, i had asked a question on baileys, as to the best combination and glass to drink it., could you send me a picture or so of the glass when u answer my question, as i do not know the names of the glas, and even if i knew a couple of them the others i do not know how it looks..., so please send me info. thanks.
Shatbhi : Hi Jestin, sorry i've taken time to answer.
The best way to drink Bailey's is to keep the bottle in the refrigerator for a day, let it chill - as it chills it will thicken - then drink it in a shooter/liqueur/sherry glass.
Am sorry i don't have any pictures to send u but try and look up www.oceanglass.com; www.libbeys.com; www.borosil.com; www.bormiolirocco.com.
Not sure if these work but try anyway.
Personally I don't like bailey's on crushed ice as it waters the drink and ruins its flavour. It's better with cube ice or even with ice cream or coffee.

Satish How can i reduce on my appetite after i have my regular share of a nip of whisky ? My appetite just increases a lot after i have had a few drinks..
Shatbhi : Hi satish, thanks for writing in.
Well, the easiest way is to get into the habit of eating your meal before you start drinking! All over Europe, UK and even US - the heavy drinking is usually done after an early dinner. Line your stomach so that u can enjoy the drink better. Also, food slows down the absorption of alcohol into the system so you can drink better too. Give it a shot.

Bedi Is it mandated that we should have the lemon immediately after guzzling the Tequila! ?
Shatbhi : Hi bedi, thanx for writing in.
Nothing is mandatory. it is only recommended! The salt and lime, before and after the tequila shot resp. started out as a measure against dehydration - u know - replacing lost salts.
They are now more a kind of traditional custom. It does tho' help to cut the fire of the alcohol! finally - do your own thing!

Jim Bielefeld What is the difference between a "Bloody Shame" and a "Virgin Mary" ?
Shatbhi : Hi jim, i've been trying to look for info on this but have come with nothing.
Logically tho' - there ought not to be any difference between the two. I mean, think about it - it is a Bloody Shame to be mixing or drinking a Virgin Mary!!

Shatbhi : Hi vamsi, thanx for writing in.
I'm awfully sorry but there aren't any courses on bartending outside of Mumbai as far as i know. STIR Academy of Bartending is the only one in India for now.
