Manmeet : What is a
marriage process, in whisky making?
Shatbhi : The process of blended whiskies involves blending different single
malts
or similar products with grain whiskies. These maybe of different ages
and in specific proportions secret to a particular brand. After
blending, the resultant whisky is then left to `marry' or come together
for anywhere between a month to more. kind of lets them get aquainted
with each other and harmonise their flavours before it is bottled.
makes sense?

Jiju : Which
contains more fat a bottle of beer or
peg of whisky or brandy? i have my belly coming out -- which drink shall i
prefer to avoid it?
Shatbhi : Hi jiju.
beer definitely has more calories than whisky. but eventually,
depending
on consumption, they all have similar calorie counts. a diet beet may
be
helpful. reasonable consumption of alcohol never hurt anyone. avoid
carbonated, sweet drinks. and maybe work out a little?!

Bhatti : Hi
shatbhi,
i want to know abt so called TABLE MANNERS while having some booze with
friends or say in society?
Shatbhi : Hi bhatti,
am sorry, but this is really very vague. tell me a little more. table
manners with friends? nah. just chill and have fun.
in society or while entertaining? ok. some tips :
find out what they like to drink and get the closest to what u can
afford. scotch like Black & White, Passport, Teacher's is good. Indian
whiskies like Blender's Pride, Antiquity, Signature are less cool.
Good glassware helps. Not ornate, heavy, cut glasses but clean, fine
crystal. Bormioli Rocco from Borosil, Ocean, Luminarc, Light & music,
are good brands to look for.
Tall simple glasses or clean whisky
tumblers.
Brands like Smirnoff, Bacardi are useful.
a few liqueurs - Archer's peach schnapps, Malibu, Cointreau, Blue
Curacao, Bailey's.
Single malts if very knowledgeable company.
am just guessing here so correct me.
ice buckets, stirrers, coasters, some napkins, and some interesting
snacks complete it.
now its your turn!
