Shatbhi : Hello. As long as it is unopened, it's fine outside. Once opened too, it will stay fine for a while, but I would recommend keeping it refrigerated to maintain finer flavours which tend to dissipate and sometimes even break up.

Bobo : Hi, i haven't been drinking for very long and i used to be able to chug a whole cup of pure Absolut but after i got pissed at a party i couldn't drink and i get nauseous just by smelling vodka... do u have any tips or anything you can give me to help me drink again ?

Shatbhi : Just give youself a break and start drinking slowly. Very little vodka over lots of ice drowned in lots of coke, lemonade, tonic, juice. Preferably use a flavoured vodka like smirnoff/absolut orange/mandarin, finlandia lime, cranberry..... if all vodkas make you sick, it could be a psychological aversion so switch to bacardi or tquila for a while, drinking small quantities in the way suggested. Hope it works.

Shatbhi : Hi. There aren't too may good books on mocktails. Your best bet is to find a good f&b consultant or talk to an f&b manager at one of the good hotels in Lucknow and get their inputs. Some products would be available locally in Lucknow like crushes and syrups. Imported bar syrups could be sourced from Delhi. Look out for Monin on the net.
